United Nations Pilgrimage for Youth Bus

ITINERARY
		After leaving Philadelphia around 3:30pm on Sunday, July 8, 2001 we were off to New York. I am not sure who was the most excited! After checking in to our rooms at the Southgate Tower Hotel, we went to our first briefing in the hotel ballroom. Our first meal in the Big Apple was at Tequilaville. It was a good time to make new friends! Then we walked over to the Empire State Building. I did not take any pictures at the top because it was foggy. However, the view was *spectacular!* Interesting! I just noticed that the ticket at the left says June 20, 2001 and 9:56 am. We were there July 8, 2001 at about 9:30pm.




The five pictures above are of the Empire State Building. The first four show the view from my room on the 26th floor of our hotel. The first picture was taken about 6am the morning we left NY. The next two was taken about 2pm on the day of the preliminary speeches. (I had the flash on for the first pic.) The 4th picture shows what type of a night light Paul and I had. The last picture is a mural in the lobby of the Empire State Building.
While we were in New York, there were a total of 123 Delegates there. Other Delegates came from Michigan, Ontario, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Our Delegates on Bus 6 were from Utah, Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
