We arrived in
Washington, DC at about 4:30pm Sunday, July 15, 2001. After
checking into our rooms at the Savoy Suites Georgetown, we had pizza with a local Odd Fellow, Peter Geolot. Dave was met by his sister and her husband, also. Before pizza, we took a tour of the National Cathedral which was just a few blocks from our hotel. Then we drove thru Washington, DC and toured two monuments; the New Franklin D. Roosevelt monument with many water falls and the Jefferson Memorial. The walk between the two was along the Tidal Basin and was just beautiful after dark. |

The United Nations Pilgrimage for Youth Bus 6 left Philadelphia Tuesday, July 17th, 2001. The 42 Delegates and two Tour Leaders had a great time. They want to thank everyone who made this possible; the Odd Fellow and Rebekah lodges and the many individuals who we met along our route. We saw and did so much! It will be a trip that will live with us forever. Hopefully we will live up to your expectations! Thank you for the memories! |
