together and flew on to Philadelphia.  We were met by Charlie Danihel from Walker Lodge and his wife Jane.  They helped us
get to our motel.  We then ate at the Philly Diner and waited
for the Washington Delegation to arrive.
The Washington group arrived late.  Their plane was on time, but it could not connect to the gate for some
reason.  They got to the motel at around 8:30pm  We then had a meeting out on the grass from 9:45pm until
11:00pm.  We discussed what we were doing and what some rules were.  We also had a birthday party
for Brad who turned 16 two days later.

Our first tour was of Philadelphia.  Charlie Danihel led us from Independence Hall to the Liberty Bell, to the
Visitor's Center, to Betsy Ross's home, and much more.  Along the way we ate a Philly Cheese Steak and
ran into a group of UNP kids from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.  We were here on Sunday,
July 8th and got to witness the re-inactment of the first reading of the Declaration of Independence.  It was great
and many people were dressed in "period clothes".  Then we left Philly at 3:30pm and headed for NY.
