Unlike some people,
I brought back money! :) |

This page covers two
days. From the morning of Friday July 13th to Saturday
night. We traveled from New York City to Niagara Falls, NY.
Then on over to Niagara Falls, Ontario. Then down south to
Williamsport, Pennsylvania. |
Sunday night, we had
entered New York late and shrouded in fog. Friday morning we
left "almost as conquerors". We had spent a very busy
time in New York and seen so many things. Delegates from towns
with populations of 500 or less had walked those busy streets
and found their way. They had succeeded in so many ways. It
was a great week! |
 |
When it was picture time, Kodak
stock took a jump! This was the
first time all of Bus 6 was together in a place where we could take a
picture. This was at a McDonald's where we stopped for
breakfast. Our fearless driver Jack Fraley was always in command. |

 |
While this was the first group
photos, it
was also truly the last. Ian left
our bus later this day to attend a debate camp. If anyone has any better
pictures
of this, let me know. |

After breakfast we were set for
our only long day of driving. It
was a 10 hour drive from NY, NY
to Niagara Falls, NY. It
was a good time to rest and watch two movies, "Never
Been
Kissed" and "Star Wars, Phantom Menace". It was also a
great time to see how beautiful New York state really is
and
get to know each other. Niagara Falls is truly a magnificent
place! We spent the night on the US side and got to see
fireworks
over the falls. The next day we drove over to the
Canadian side
(where the view is better). |

We had a fine morning on the Canadian side
of the border! |

Mary would not come on the boat. She
thought she would get wet! |

Our hotel in Williamsport, Pa had a pool
and some kids got about 20 minutes in it before it closed. |

Williamsport was the last stop
for Jack Fraley our wonderful driver. He had to return home for
some medical tests. We very much appreciated his knowledge and
skills!! I hope you are doing well, Jack! |
